Came out on the market as part of La Casa del Habano (LCDH) series in 2008. Manufactured with the best leaves from the region of Vuelta Abajo in Cuba. This double figurados (57 ring gauge - 184 mm) includes flavours of leather, earth and a hint of spice. This cigar were discontinued in the 70's and re-produced in the year 1995 for the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Partagas factory. Available in Dress Box of 10 cigars.

My experience of this cigar is very disappointed with my 2 boxes when bought now they taste wonderful.
I smoke Strong Cigars. Punch, Patagas Bolivar and Cohiba. But I bought a box of Patagas Salomones. I smoke the stongest Tarry dense smoke with this huge Ring Gauge and it was the only time I was happy to be done.

This was a regular production cigar but was discontinued in the 1960's, but Habanos have brought it back to life in this 2012 Edicion Limitada format. We smoked it and it is super strong (we haven't tasted a Cuban this powerful for a long time). What a cigar and it will only get better!
